We will explore the rare rocks, soils, and flowers on the hills that overlook the city of San Francisco at the optimum time of day for rare plant sightings. More information available here.​

For 6 weeks we will learn about the geologic history of California! In each geomorphic province of the state we will investigate the rocks and landscape to understand how the land assembled over millions of years. This is a hybrid class so you can join in -person on the SSU campus, via zoom, or watch the recordings. ​​​​​
