Service Description

We will meet at a Tolay Lake Regional Park Parking Lot, explore the views of the fault-scape, sag ponds, & marshes. Learn about the formation of the landscape, the rocks in the surrounding land, and how this land will continue to change in the near & distant future. EASY TO MODERATE TRAIL: This locations have been chosen for its easy paths and general openness. We will explore the Historic Lakeville Road Trail, West Ridge Trail, Burrowing Owl Trail & Cardoza Road Trail, walking ~2.2 miles and gaining ~180ft elevation. -Participants pay for their own parking pass for the Sonoma County Regional Park -Each participant must sign up under their own Appreciating Earth member account -This even may be canceled (with refund) if the weather is inclement
