Sonoma Valley Regional Park Geology Walk

Service Description

We will meet at a Sonoma Valley Regional Park Parking Lot, explore the views of the fault-scape, ponds, & marshes. Learn about the formation of the landscape, the rocks in the surrounding land, and how this land will continue to change in the near & distant future. EASY TRAIL: This locations have been chosen for its easy paths and general openness. We will explore the Damselfly Pond trails, walk ~2 miles, and gain ~250ft elevation. -Participants pay for their own parking pass for the Sonoma County Regional Park -Each participant must sign up under their own Appreciating Earth member account -This even may be canceled (with refund) if the weather is inclement

Cancellation Policy

Please honor the 24 hour cancellation policy for private trips, walks, classes & sessions. Group walks & trips must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance online, or via email or phone. For virtual fitness classes, the cutoff to register is 10 minutes prior to class. Please email nicolepele@hotmail.com if you miss this cutoff (it may not be too late)
